What We Believe

We Believe:

  • All scripture (Old Testament & New Testament) is the Living Word of God.
The Bible is the inspired Word of God and is without flaw or error. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:21, I Corinthians 2:13)
We believe the KJV is closest translation to the original manuscripts.
  • There is one true God and he exists in three persons; God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19, II Corinthians 13:14)
  • Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, named Mary (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:18-25)
  • Jesus died and rose again to gain the victory over death and the grave. (Matthew 28, Mark 16)
  • All are born with a sin nature and are in need of salvation. (Romans 3:9-19)
  • God provided salvation through Jesus Christ shedding his blood on the cross as atonement for our sins. (Romans 3:25, Hebrews 9:22)
  • We are saved when we see ourselves as sinner and put our trust in Jesus to forgive us of our sins through his work on Calvary. Salvation is by grace alone. Works is not a part of Salvation. (Romans 3:24, 4:5, Ephesians 2:8-9)
  • Once saved you are secure for eternity. (John 3:16, 10:27-29, Romans 8:38-39)
  • Once saved all believers should be baptized by immersion as an act of obedience. Baptism has no part in salvation. (Acts 2:41, 19:4-5, Matthew 28:19-20)
